Today I bring another project that I worked on end-to-end, and this time the architectural and security challenges were on another level. I'd like to introduce you to halsovault.com, a smart digital vault for integrated health data management.

HälsoVault was born to solve the chaos of organizing medical exams, prescriptions, consultation history, and emergency records. The mission: centralize what is vital and shield what is confidential.

As the absolute lead of the project, I planned and executed everything from the UX strategy to the strict security policies. Check out the technical backstage:

🎨 UX/UI & Documentation (design.md): Healthcare apps don't need to look like a hospital. I created a Design System documented in design.md, utilizing a Glassmorphism aesthetic (translucent layered surfaces), responsive typography, and high-contrast Light/Dark themes. The layout is Full Bleed and scrollbar-free on mobile, delivering a fluid experience identical to a native app.
🤖 MCP (Model Context Protocol) Driven Engineering: This is where the game changed. The entire development lifecycle was orchestrated via MCP. I integrated autonomous agent tools for surgical refactoring, linter automation, and clean code assurance. On the Front-end, we have React + TypeScript + Vite, with native dynamic support for three languages (EN, PT, ES).
⚙️ Back-End & Serverless: The data engine runs on Serverless infrastructure (PostgreSQL / Supabase / Edge Functions). For file storage (like PDF reports), I created an encrypted flow that generates signed temporary links, ensuring that only the patient can access the document, and for a strictly limited time.
🔐 Security & Privacy (The Core of the App): Handling health data requires absolute paranoia regarding security. I implemented Row Level Security (RLS) for strict data isolation, alongside encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
🚨 Emergency Module: One of the features I'm most proud of: a system where a first responder or doctor can quickly access the patient's vital records via QR Code or PIN, using a temporary, revocable, and 100% auditable token.
